I’ve always been good at waiting until the last minute to do something. In highschool it worked really well. I’m finding out now however that college work loads and even real life job stuff, it gets harder and harder to procrastinate. Learning to get things done ahead of time will cause me less stress in the future and maybe even a higher grade because I will have time to check the things I do.

I had o conversation with a woman who wanted to become rich and famous. It was funny talking to her to hear what her life goals were for accomplishing her dreams. However, after thinking about it, she seemed pretty set on her goals, and I wasn’t one to tell her to not go and reach out and accomplish them. Everyone can do what it is they have their mind set on if they believe in what there doing and most importantly, having fun while doing it.

Im writing this, because I’m pretty sure I forgot to do one the week before break. Basically this is me making it up so please Professor Michael, if your reading this, show mercy. So long story short, I went to Florida for spring break (like half of the population of JMU did apparently) and I had fun and soaked up the sun. So 10/10 would recommend Florida as a place to go.

After watching a few movies in my dorm for past time, its fun trying to see the hidden meanings and “Easter eggs” in movies. Seeing small things like a main character who’s usually the leading character move from driving the car to moving to the passenger seat or even the changing of clothes to fit the mood and setting. Small things that most people won’t notice but if you look closely you can find it.

I was told by one of my professors the difference between being a High school teacher and being a professor. Professors are good at giving back the knowledge they have in the title of learning that they got there degree in. This means that they may be bad at helping you learn the information and you may find yourself teaching yourself. High school teachers are meant to help teach and learn the information that they give you.

We live in a fast pace technology filled world. Everything goes by super fast. Everyone needs answers right away, the newest and greatest update, etc etc. The other day me and a group of friends were eating at Dhall and we were all on our phones texting who knows who, doing other things rather than talk amongst ourselves. I noticed this so I put my phone down and tried to start a conversation. This was hard at first because everyone including my self had in earbuds (mine were AirPods #flex) but after a while we were all talking, telling stories and enjoying our meal. Now I’m not saying being on your phone is a bad thing, just once in a while look around you, see whats going around you in the world and enjoy the little things.

I am a huge music fan. I’ve never understood when people would be like “I don’t like hip hop, or rap, or even country. I agree there are certain songs in every genre that are boring to listen to or just isn’t good. However, in every different type of genre there is a story being told. Music is just basic poetry that people alter to tell there story of love, hardship, hustling etc. Poetry itself doesn’t have to rhyme either. There are plenty of songs that don’t rhyme, but has a nice flow and has a good back story to it. This is why Jazz is my favorite type of music to listen too. The thing with jazz is that improvising is everything. You create the song and then recreate it anytime you want. There’s no pattern one has to follow when playing jazz.

Today in class, I found it very interesting how we could change simple fun and cute stories into evil ones. The power a speaker or a writer has is crazy. In a class room environment its all fun and games, however when you think about all the journalists and newspaper writers out there who do the same thing but way better and in a professional setting it can get a little scary. I know people joke around about the whole fake news idea, but it is proven to be true. These people take real true Stories and in the same way we made our cute stories into evil ones, these writers turn good stories into bad ones or vice verse.
